“Alejandro Mayorkas is the face of President Biden’s reckless open borders. Only a drastic change in enforcement of the law will fix our gaping, ineffective immigration system. President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas have lost all credibility on this issue, and Senate Democrats took the unprecedented step of sweeping these impeachment articles under the rug. Every Senate Democrat voted to block multiple objections raised by Republicans, willfully burying the Secretary’s unlawfulness in procedural games. A partisan dismissal of the charges without holding any semblance of a trial is a dereliction of the Senate’s duty, and I’ll have no part in it.”
