Issue Position

Spending in Washington has spiraled out of control. We are sending billions of dollars in IOU's to China in the form of our national debt, while they continue to drain jobs from our domestic market. David believes that we can spend our money more wisely, and that the best way to do so is to re-prioritize our spending. Any budget item should show that it will pay long-term dividends in helping our people, our economy, our infrastructure, or our security. Anything that doesn't advance one or more of these ideals should be examined closely for either reduction or outright elimination from the federal budget. The truth is, if we don't reexamine our spending, we won't have the ability to grow in the future.
