* Led the fight to make sure Lincoln Public Schools gets a fair share of state aide to keep our schools strong and lessen the property tax burden on Lincoln citizens
* Secured Priority funding for the University of Nebraska and Community College System to keep tuition affordable and to support the critical role of higher education in our economic development efforts
* Introduced & Passed a Scholarship Program for children of First Responders who are killed in the line of duty
