We need to fund our K-12 schools from the bottom up. Many schools are now having to borrow money from banks just to keep the lights on. This is not fair for our schoolchildren, teachers and administrators. K-12 needs to be fully funded with a real budget.
It is our responsibility as legislators to fix the PACT plan to keep the state's promise to parents who have saved and paid into this plan and have been guaranteed enough tuition to put their children through one of our state universities. We must keep this promise.
