Bill Cassidy is a leader in the fight to protect and promote traditional family values in Congress.

The Right To Life: As a physician, Bill Cassidy knows every human life is a blessing deserving equal protection under the law from womb to natural death. He is a co-author of legislation to block taxpayer funding of abortion and is working to pass legislation to discourage abortion by helping pregnant mothers carry their children to term and care for their children after birth.

Preserving Traditional Marriage: A husband and father of three children, Bill Cassidy supports the Defense of Marriage Act, which enshrines the definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman.

Parental Rights & School Choice: As the father of three young children, Bill Cassidy believes parents should be able to direct the upbringing of their children, especially how they are educated. He supports initiatives that help parents send their children to the school of their choice, whether public, charter, parochial, or home school. He is also the co-author of a constitutional amendment to clarify that parents have the fundamental right to direct the upbringing of their children, and that this right shall not be infringed upon by state or federal government, or trumped by any international treaty or law.
