Hastings Veterans Home

Senator Sieben has been a strong supporter of the Hastings Veterans Home. She has worked closely with Department of Veteran Affairs, Home administration and residents to secure funding and ensure that residents receive the best possible care. Legislation passed during the 2009 Legislative Session appropriated $220,000 each year for increases in the mental health program at the Hastings Veterans Home.

Yellow Ribbon Communities

Senator Sieben has been working with members of the Hastings and Cottage Grove communities to reach out to the families of service men and women to offer resources and support in partnership with the state's Yellow Ribbon network.
