Senator Richard Blumenthal (D -- CT) issued the following statement today on the announcement of the December employment numbers:
"Although today's employment numbers demonstrate a positive trend, there are still far too many families and small businesses in our state struggling to make ends meet. One of my top priorities as Connecticut's Senator is to continue to strengthen our economy. Over the next two weeks, I'm looking forward to traveling the state and listening to people to hear their ideas about commonsense ways we can create more jobs both at home and across the country."
