U.S. Congressman Mike Pence met with Japanese Ambassador Ichiro Fujisaki on Thursday, March 31. During the meeting, Congressman Pence expressed his condolences to the nation of Japan for the natural disasters in early March.
"Our hearts go out to the people of Japan as they continue to struggle to recover from this tragedy. I assured Ambassador Fujisaki of our continued support and prayers. The ambassador expressed his profound gratitude to the people of the United States and urged Americans to continue to support relief organizations working amidst the tragedy in Japan."
