On Friday night, the House of Representatives passed another continuing budget resolution to keep the government from shutting down. Representative Xavier Becerra (CA-31), Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus, released the following statement:
"Warning: Do not try this at home. Budgeting three weeks, two weeks, one week and a few days at a time could be dangerous to your health... or your job... or your country. This is no way to run the largest economy in the world or even the smallest business on Main Street. It's time House Republicans stopped the gamesmanship and acted in the national interest."
