Tester's Statement on Labor Relations Proposal

Statement

Date: July 7, 2011
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Labor Unions

Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in response to the National Labor Relations Board's proposed rule:

"A worker's right to organize and bargain for fair opportunities has helped build America's strong middle class. The National Labor Relations Board's proposal streamlines and modernizes the union election process so that workers can make their own decisions about whether to join a union without any outside interference. America's workers deserve an open and transparent election process, and that's what these proposed rules offer."
