Griffin: There's "Overwhelming' Support for Keystone XL Pipeline

Statement

Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement regarding the constituent feedback on the Keystone XL pipeline he has received through an online survey and during a recent tele-town hall:

"On Friday, I launched a survey on my website -- http://Griffin.House.gov -- where folks can share their opinions and tell me how the President's decision to kill the Keystone XL pipeline is affecting them. The response has been overwhelming. Over 78 percent of the more than 670 people who have completed the survey believe that President Obama should approve the Keystone XL pipeline. During a tele-town hall I held with constituents last night, I asked the same question, and the level of support was even higher -- with 88 percent supporting it. Clearly, Arkansans are as frustrated as I am by the President's decision to kill the Keystone pipeline."
