U.S. Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) issued the following statement after voting in support of the Keystone XL pipeline:

"Today, I supported moving forward with the Keystone Pipeline, a project that will create thousands of new jobs, reduce gas prices in the Northeast, and help free us from dependence on Middle East oil. In doing so, the Keystone project strengthens American economic and national security."
