Issue Position

Over the last decade, America's military men and women have shouldered an enormous burden in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world. Far too many of them remain deployed on dangerous missions. We need to bring our troops home as soon as possible. We need their bravery and leadership back here at home. But, until the day that every one of them has returned, we must ensure that they have the funding, supplies, weapons and gear that they need. And, when they do return, we owe them a hero's welcome. That means an honorable job, quality healthcare, a safe community, and educational opportunities for returning troops and their families, as well as comprehensive support for disabilities and injuries suffered in service.
