Brandon's Solution for Government Spending

Georgia's legislature, with the guidance of Governor Nathan Deal, has been able to once again balance the budget and set priorities for the future of our great state. It is often said that our Federal and State Governments do not have a tax problem-they have a spending problem! It is up to the people to hold irresponsible and greedy politicians accountable for outrageous spending trends. In order to maintain a fiscally responsible state government, we must continue to elect leaders that will exercise conservative principles while managing tax revenue.

Lower Taxes - While recovering from an economic recession, the government must cut wasteful programs and lower taxes. Lowering taxes is one of the best things our state government can do to boost the economy. This change will allow citizens to keep more of their income, which results in more spending power for consumers, more demand for products and services, and more jobs.

Less Government - Less government means less spending. When we cut the size and scope of government there will simply be less to pay. For this reason we must eliminate wasteful government programs in order to regulate out-of-control spending.

Local Control - Placing control back into the hands of local community leaders is the smartest way to getting back to a fiscally responsible government. Electing conservative leaders, will ensure tax revenue is spent in the right places at the right time.
