Gov. Rounds asks Senators Daschle and Johnson to support Federal Marriage Amendment

Gov. Mike Rounds today sent a letter to South Dakota Senators Tom Daschle and Tim Johnson asking them to support the Federal Marriage Amendment that is scheduled to come before the Senate this week.

"Marriage is one of the most sacred human institutions. I asked our Senators, as many South Dakotans have done, to protect marriage as a union between a man and a woman," said Gov. Rounds.
