As a small business owner, Mike Hilgers knows that to create well-paying jobs and to promote economic development, Nebraska must eliminate government waste and cut taxes for working families and small businesses, invest in high tech research and job training, reduce job-killing government red tape, and expand existing industries while developing new ones. Mike will also oppose unfunded government mandates on our county, cities, and schools that drive up our property taxes.

With prices rising, Mike will work to reduce the cost of energy by ensuring that Nebraskans have access to affordable energy sources. Mike will oppose special interests that seek to impose radical environmentalist agendas and increased energy costs on our families and businesses.
