Rep. McKinley Applauds WVU for Study on Arthritis

Rep. David B. McKinley, P.E. (R-W.Va.) expressed his congratulations to officials at West Virginia University on obtaining a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services for close to $2 million for research on exercise and depression in adults with Arthritis.

"Because arthritis is such a widespread problem in West Virginia, this study will help doctors and others in the medical field learn more about other conditions that can be a direct result of the disease," said Rep. McKinley.

The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases presented the grant to the University for this research which will be conducted at WVU's Chestnut Ridge Facility.
