Issue Position

Our natural environment is one of the most treasured resources we have here in Vermont. We must work to preserve it and as Attorney General I'll work hard to bring balance to every decision impacting our fresh air, forests, freshwater streams and lakes. Every Vermonter has a right to clean, efficient and dependable energy source. Every Vermonter has a right to know what's in the food their children put in their mouths, that it's safe.

Vermont Yankee

Vermont Yankee should be retired. I will vigorously defend Vermont's right to have a say in its energy future, and I will fight to shut this plant down.

GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms)

Vermonters deserve to know what's in their food. As a father and as a consumer, I believe we have the right to make informed decisions on what goes into our bodies. I'll work with our legislature in the committee room and do the scrutiny up front to help them pass a law that stands up in the court of law and keeps Vermonters informed on the food they choose to eat.
