Here Are The Facts - Read Keith's Reaction to the Supreme Court's Ruling

Statement

Today's Supreme Court decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act is an important victory for all Americans.

For decades, Americans have been organizing to secure greater access to affordable health care. Today's ruling means that we can create change and improve people's lives when we work hard and stick together.

Despite the Court's decision, Republicans are sticking to their pledge to repeal the entire law and take away health care from American families. When Republicans like my opponent Chris Fields say that young adults who are covered under their parents' health care are "freeloaders," it's clear that the GOP is looking out for the special interests, not what's best for working families.

What would a Romney presidency and Republican Congress mean for the American people? Here are the facts.

32 million seniors would lose access to free preventative care; insurance companies would deny coverage to 17 million children with pre-existing conditions; over 6 million young adults would be kicked off their parents' health care and 105 million Americans would once again face lifetime caps on their coverage. We can't let that happen.

I need your support to let voters know what's at stake if Republicans win big this year. Can you sign my petition telling Republicans to keep their hands off our health care?

Instead of creating jobs and getting Americans back to work, Republicans are solely focused on taking away our access to affordable health care. We can defeat the GOP's anti-middle class agenda, but we must stand together, shoulder to shoulder, and send a message that we'll never back down.
