John supports efforts to secure our borders as the only logical first step toward immigration reform. He does not support amnesty or access to taxpayer-funded social welfare programs for illegal immigrants.

America is unique in our founding as a nation of immigrants. That's why John supports, as a part of comprehensive immigration reform, unifying Americans by a common, official language -- English -- and fixing our broken, inefficient immigration process to make it easier to become an American the right way.
