National Right to Life Endorsement

The nation's largest advocate for the protection of life, the National Right to Life, has endorsed Dr. Larry Bucshon's reelection for the United States House of Representatives in Indiana 8th Congressional District.

Dr. Larry Bucshon released the following statement regarding the National Right to Life's endorsement:

"The unborn child has a fundamental right to life that cannot be denied. In Congress, I have strongly opposed the use of federal funds for abortion, supported legislation that declares life begins at conception, and supported legislation that protects the life of our nation's most vulnerable."

Karen Cross, Political Director for National Right to Life, released a statement regarding the endorsement:

"Congressman Larry Bucshon has maintained an outstanding 100% pro-life voting record with National Right to Life. We especially appreciate Congressman Bucshon's support for the D.C. Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, a bill to end the current policy of allowing abortion for any reason in our nation's capital.

We know that pro-life legislation saves lives. Congressman Bucshon has proven to be a committed defender of legislation that protects the lives of vulnerable unborn children. For that reason, we are proud to endorse him and look forward to working with him in the next Congress."
