Issue Position

Small business, not government, is the lifeblood of a growing economy, and I will work to eliminate the bureaucratic red tape that is preventing many small businesses from creating jobs. By eliminating the regulations that increase the cost and time to do business in Florida, we will foster growth by encouraging start-up businesses to get off the ground and allowing present businesses to expand. We can do all this in the current budget, and because Floridians should be able to keep more of their hard-earned money, I will fight against any tax increases in the Legislature. As someone who owns his own small business, I know firsthand how to create jobs, manage a budget, and grow the economy. This is the kind of commonsense experience we need in the Legislature.
