People are struggling to find -- or keep -- good paying jobs with the kinds of benefits that enable them to care for their families. At the same time, a perceived lack of skilled workers and the high cost of health care continue to make it difficult for Maine businesses to thrive and new businesses to start. I believe that the legislature needs leaders who have the experience and willingness to find creative ways to champion economic growth and job opportunities while protecting the natural beauty and heritage that makes Maine such a great place to work, live and raise a family.
