Issue Position: Protect Our Texas Boarders

Issue Position

Washington has a constitutional duty to secure international borders, but they have failed to do the job. If the federal government won't control the border, Texas must stand in the breech and do everything within its power to protect its citizens. That means expanding the state's law enforcement presence on our border with Mexico and providing them with the resources and tactics needed to protect Texas families and communities from cartels, drug smugglers, human traffickers, and spillover violence.
