Congressman Tom Cotton Announces Federal Assistance for Fourth District Counties Affected by Recent Severe Storms

Congressman Tom Cotton today announced that three counties in Arkansas's Fourth Congressional District have been declared federal disaster areas, allowing them to receive financial assistance to recover from severe storms:
"I am pleased with the swift action on this matter. I look forward to helping Arkansans recover and rebuild from these storms."
Under this designation, Montgomery, Polk, and Scott counties can apply for assistance for emergency work and the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities. Also, all counties can apply for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, which helps mitigate long-term risks to life and property.
