CRAPO'S "CAPITOL WATCH" PREVIEWS NEW CONGRESS

Statewide cable program airs Tuesday, January 11th

This month, Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will address the challenges and issues facing the 109th Congress on his monthly cable program. Crapo's "Capitol Watch" program airs at 7:00 p.m. Mountain/ 6:00 p.m. Pacific on most public access cable stations across Idaho. This month's edition airs Tuesday evening, January 11th.

"As the 109th Congress gets underway, I am excited to also start another year of ‘Capitol Watch," Crapo said. "There are many challenges confronting Congress this year—the federal deficit and budget, the continued war on terror, efforts to reform and update tax policy, health care, and Social Security. Each month I have the opportunity to speak directly with Idahoans about what is going on in the U.S. Senate, and it is my hope that they feel more connected through this interaction. This will mark the fifth year that the Idaho Cable Telecommunications Association and local cable companies have provided Idaho communities with this public service. I appreciate their support over the years and now that those who have participated in the program do as well."
