Although the Supreme Court has ruled the individual mandate is constitutional, Mac believes that upending the entire health care system when 84 percent of Americans are already covered by health insurance was an enormous mistake.

Mac believes Congress should fully repeal and defund Obamacare because it is already driving up premiums, forcing employers to stop offering health care, and causing Americans to lose the care they already have. He voted against the original bill when it was forced through the House and has voted to support all efforts to repeal, dismantle, and defund any and all parts of the law.

Replacing Obamacare with commonsense reforms that make health care more affordable and accessible to all Americans is something Mac advocates. He also supports efforts to ensure that health care decisions are made by the doctor and patient, not by a bureaucrat in Washington.
