Issue Position

In Congress, Charlotte Lane will uphold the traditional family values that have long been held by West Virginians.

That means that she will be a staunch supporter of our nation's most vulnerable citizens: our children still in the womb. She will vote Pro-Life every time and fiercely oppose the use of taxpayer dollars to fund abortion -- and abortion advocating organizations like Planned Parenthood. Such use of our money is simply inexcusable and must be stopped. Charlotte will be a vocal advocate for the rights of our children and this will be evident in her voting record.

Charlotte also will oppose President Obama's attempt to force religious organizations to provide services they oppose for moral reasons, including the Obama Administration's mandate that religious organizations pay for contraceptive services for their employees that the organization itself opposes based on its theology.

Charlotte Lane believes in the traditional definition of marriage, which is a covenant between one man and one woman.
