U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement in regard to the decision by the Bureau of Prisons and Attorney General Eric Holder's Department of Justice to release Lynne Stewart, who is a former lawyer convicted of aiding terrorism:

"Eric Holder's Department of "Injustice' continues ignoring the rule of law and common sense. Lynne Stewart's early release is a travesty of justice. After being found guilty of her treasonous acts, she was sentenced to a meager 10 years in prison. And now she's getting out early? It's unfathomable that a traitor and facilitator of terrorism would ever see the outside of a cell. Americans are disgusted and I again call on Attorney General Holder to resign immediately. His lack of regard for justice continues unabated."
