Following news reports of Jewish people in pro-Russian portions of Ukraine being told to register with the government, Congressman Doug Lamborn released the following statement.
"The reports of Jewish people being forced to register in pro-Russian areas of Ukraine are absolutely sickening and appalling and are reminiscent of dark chapters in history. If true, peaceful Jewish citizens are being approached and threatened with a loss of citizenship and deportation if they do not comply. Weak American leadership has allowed the Ukrainian situation to fester. The crisis now appears to be slipping to a sinister new low."
