DeLauro Statement on Developments in Ukraine

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) released the following statement today on reports that fliers in Eastern Ukraine are directing Jewish residents to register with authorities. She also commented on the deal reached by Secretary of State John Kerry and top diplomats from the European Union, Russia and Ukraine to ease tensions in Ukraine.

"These fliers, regardless of who is behind them, are abhorrent and should immediately be condemned by the international community. I echo Secretary Kerry's comments that "this is not just intolerable; it's grotesque, is beyond unacceptable.' And we must be vigilant in ensuring that terms of the agreement reached earlier today are carried out."
