DeSantis: VA Accountability Long Overdue

In an bipartisan 390-33 vote, the House of Representatives today passed H.R. 4031, the Department of Veterans Affairs Management Accountability Act. Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06) was a co-sponsor and outspoken advocate for the passage of H.R. 4031. DeSantis issued the following statement:

"Senior officials at the VA must be held accountable for the mismanagement and malfeasance that has occurred on their watch. The treatment of our veterans by the VA is an ongoing national disgrace. The House has acted to restore accountability by passing this important legislation and I hope that the Senate will follow suit."
