Issue Position

We have all seen the federal government overreach that is harming Oklahomans and Americans, from the federal takeover of healthcare and education, to direct targeting by the EPA to regulate out of existence our access to affordable electric power generation. Oklahomans face utility rate hikes as the EPA rolls out plans to shut down coal-fired electric generation plants, and harm our economy through massive regulations on oil and coal producers.

For too long, unelected bureaucrats have been allowed to stand in the way of real economic growth. It's time for all Oklahomans to a have strong advocate against the federal government with a consistent history of standing up and speaking out against big government policies that destroy our opportunities and put a chokehold on our economy.

I will take the same conservative principles that guided me at the Oklahoma Capitol to the Corporation Commission.
