Issues: Unemployed and Low-Income Entitlements and the Safety Net Health Insurance

As your state representative I will do everything I can to fight Obamacare. As a state we must push back. The worst part of Obamacare is that it is the largest change to our economy and our society in a generation. It was passed with virtually no debate, no support from the Republican Party, and no interaction from the States. Now, the Obama administration wants to force states to implement the program with little input.

The Utah Legislature needs to make a decision on whether and how we will expand Medicaid and outlined in Obamacare. If we want to be successful we need to develop a strong strategy that will continue to push the balance of power away from the federal government and toward increased state control. I will work with local experts to find the right solution -- the Utah solution.
