Schilling Receives Susan B. Anthony List Endorsement

Today Bobby Schilling (R-Colona) received a key endorsement from the Susan B. Anthony List in his race for U.S. House of Representatives against incumbent liberal Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (D-East Moline).

"During his previous time in Washington, Congressman Schilling was a champion for unborn children, women, and pro-life taxpayers in Illinois and across the country. We are proud to endorse his campaign and send him back to Congress to replace Cheri Bustos," said SBA List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser.

Bobby Schilling released the following statement about the endorsement:

"I am thrilled to have the support of the Susan B. Anthony List in our race against pro-abortion Congresswoman Cheri Bustos. While I am in favor of reasonable, common sense restrictions on abortion, my opponent believes in unlimited, unsafe abortions up to the moment of birth. She has a record to prove it--Bustos voted to protect third trimester abortions by voting against the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and she has repeatedly voted to fund Planned Parenthood and other third-term abortion providers. It's clear that Congresswoman Bustos is incredibly extreme on this issue, and her radical support for third-term abortion will play a role in her defeat on November 4th."
