I once heard that good gun control is "using both hands".
As a retired veteran I know the value of a weapon in the hands of a well trained individual. Our founding fathers made it clear that GOVERNMENT must not infringe on the citizens right to bear arms and I fully support the Second Amendment.
The only exception is if a person has been deemed to be a danger to them self or the community by a jury of their peers or a group of medical professionals.
I would ask that people take the responsibility to get training and keep their weapons safe and out of reach of children.
