Worker's rights:

Minimum Wage Increase -- Since it hasn't happened at the Federal level yet, there must be a state minimum wage increase. The cost of living is particularly high here in Hawaii. Nearly 11% of Hawaii's residents live below the Federal Poverty level! For Hawaii, that's an annual gross income of less than $27,090 for a family of four.

Worker Protection for Hazardous Fields -- More stringent protection requirements for workers in hazardous fields must be mandated to protect our labor force. This includes those working with hazardous and toxic chemicals as well as dangerous machinery.
