"With today's announcement that Maryland has retained our AAA bond rating, we're continuing to build a strong economy on the foundation of fiscal responsibility. Together, we've balanced our budget every year, built the best school system in the nation, made our public colleges the most affordable in America and outpaced Virginia in job creation -- with over 20,000 new jobs in the last year alone. Meanwhile, the Republicans are rooting for failure and working to undermine Maryland's progress by offering a failed agenda of out of control spending and tax giveaways to millionaires and corporate special interests."
