Ben Allen knows that California's public university system is one of the best investments the state has ever made. As our next State Senator, Ben Allen will ensure that any Californian who works hard will be able to afford a high quality college education.

School Board Member Ben Allen has the first- hand experience we need to make the tough decisions necessary to reform our state budget, and to prioritize the affordability of higher education for all Californians.

As a UC Regent, Ben fought for affordability and loan forgiveness in the UC's professional schools, fought against fee increases and for increased funding to higher education. Ben has taught in our community college system, and knows how important it is in providing gateways to success for students.
