Jobs and the Economy

We need to find ways to put North Carolina back to work and attract businesses to the area. This state deserves quality, well-paying jobs that will build the economy of the future. This starts with raising the minimum wage for existing workers. Many politicians are trying to prevent the raise of the minimum wage, but 61 percent of North Carolinians favor it. The raise would lift many out of poverty, reduce costly turnover for businesses, and stimulate the economy
