Connecticut will be defined by the vitality of its cities. The state must provide our 169 towns and cities the autonomy they deserve in order to balance their budgets and must mitigate expanding unfunded mandates.

I support an overhaul of PILOT, in order to enhance the viability of urban centers such as New London for a 21st century economy.
I support reforming the state's regressive property tax
I support improving access to affordable housing through eliminating burdensome red tape and revamping state zoning policy
