In order to truly unleash Wisconsin's economic potential, we must enact Right to Work legislation. The choice to join, or not join, a union is a free association right every Wisconsinite must be guaranteed. A law requiring one to pay dues to an organization that one does not wish to join is antithesis to the American concept of freedom. In addition to being a liberty issue, Right to Work states generate greater GDP growth and new jobs than non-Right to Work states. Michigan and Indiana recently became Right to Work States -- Wisconsin should stay competitive with its neighbors.
