Congressman Rokita: "I will continue to repeal and defund, in whatever part, at every opportunity, the insidious ObamaCare law that robs people of good healthcare choices and drives up the debt owed by future generations. It makes it harder for small businesses to thrive, and harder for the unemployed to find work. Today, I again supported legislation to restore the definition of full-time employment to 40 hours."

Washington, DC --Rep. Todd Rokita, a member of the House Budget Committee, voted today in favor of legislation that he cosponsored, the Save American Workers Act -- which repeals ObamaCare's poorly planned 30-hour definition of full-time employment and reaffirms the traditional 40-hour work week.

"Working full time is the best way for Americans to climb the economic ladder. Providing all Americans the opportunity to enjoy the dignity that comes with the blessing that is a full-time job is the best way to help them build better lives for themselves and their families. The data shows that 97 percent of Americans working a full time job will escape poverty, said Rokita.
