Four Tester Bills Pass Out of Indian Affairs Committee

Less than a month into the new Congress, Senator Jon Tester today helped pass four bipartisan bills out of the Indian Affairs Committee.

Tester, who serves as Vice Chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, said the bills are designed to improve tribal self-determination and protect Native children.

"America has a trust responsibility to our tribes, and we must do a better job living up to our commitments to this generation and future generations," Tester said. "These bipartisan bills will ensure folks in Indian Country have a brighter, safer future."
