Issue Position: Support limited government and keep taxes low

Issue Position

As a conservative Republican, I am driven by my ideals of a smaller, more effective government system. What we need is a group of representatives who listen to the issues that are important to local citizens, someone who will remain grounded in those issues so they can effectively represent this district. We must work together to encourage more personal responsibility to create opportunity and freedom for people to go out and make a living, support their family, and support the future of Houston County. Bottom-line mentality is not reserved just for the CEOs of the world. I think you'd agree that as taxpayers, we are owners and stakeholders and we would all like to see a tangible, sustainable and positive return on our investment.

It is easy for anyone to state, "I support the base, I support education, I support our local business community and growth of our local economy." However, I have a track record of supporting these interests. My investment, my time and my dedication have been directly impacting these priorities throughout my career and volunteer service. We have been fortunate to have great leadership in this district, and I look forward to bringing a new perspective so that together, we will build a bright future for Houston County.
