WEB VIDEO: Governor Abbott Leads Transformation Of Early Education In Texas

Following Governor Greg Abbott signing his emergency early education initiatives into law on Thursday, the Office of the Governor today released a web video highlighting Governor Abbott's plan to elevate Texas' education system to be number one in the nation, beginning with the implementation of high-quality education standards for Texas Pre-K students.

"Our journey begins with striving to create the best education system in America," said Governor Abbott in the video. "We cannot wait until tomorrow, we must start today. I am proud to sign into law HB 4, to ensure children get off to the best start for early education."
