Statement

Date: July 7, 2020

U.S. Senator Ben Sasse, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, released the following statement after Deutsche Bank was fined $150 million for failing to prevent suspicious transactions with sexual abuser Jeffrey Epstein.

"Deutsche Bank turned a blind eye to blatant misdealing and suspicious transactions from a known sexual predator. Those who aided Epstein and ignored his disgusting history must pay the price. It's important that officials continue digging into Epstein's dark past to make sure his accomplices are brought to justice."
