Biden Statement on the Death of Coretta Scott King

U.S. Senator Joe Biden (D-DE) released the following statement today on the passing of civil rights leader Coretta Scott King:

"Today, the nation mourns the loss of Coretta Scott King. She was the keeper of Dr. King's promise and her presence was a constant reminder of the roads we've traveled and the paths we've yet to forge. She stood for peace long before others were willing to take a stand. We will miss her strength, her wisdom, her passion and her compassion."
