Date: Feb. 16, 2021
Location: Washington, DC

Tuesday, Congresswoman Uifaatali Amata announced she will be Vice Ranking Member for the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs (HVAC), and will serve once again on two key Veterans subcommittees for the 117th Congress -- the Health Subcommittee and the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.

Ranking Member Mike Bost said, "I am excited that my friend, Rep. Amata Radewagen, will continue to serve as Vice Ranking Member for the House Veterans' Affairs Committee. Aumua and I have been serving together since we both came to Congress in 2015. Since then, she has been a constant advocate for our veterans, especially those in underserved areas like American Samoa. I look forward to continuing our work on behalf of all the men and women who have served in uniform."
