"This Expo effort united our state and our country and spotlighted Minnesota on the world stage in a manner that will pay dividends for years to come. I especially want to thank the City of Bloomington for all its good work on this bid. Though this isn't the outcome we hoped for, we will continue to focus on bringing visitors from across the U.S. and around the world to our beautiful state."
